Hundreds of Jobs and Training Opportunities Available at Rose Hill Jobs Fair.

Hundreds of local, live jobs and training opportunities will be available at a one day Jobs Fair being held in Rose Hill on March 17th.

The Jobs fair is being held in Oxford City Council’s new community centre in Rose Hill, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. It is being organized by award winning social enterprise and employment charity, Aspire Oxford and in partnership with Oxford City Council, Jobcentre Plus and Renaissance coaching.

It follows the two successful community jobs fairs held on the Barton and Blackbird Leys estates last year, each attended by over 325 job seekers.

Paul Roberts, Chief Operating Officer from Aspire, said: “We’re very excited about the Job Fair in Rose Hill. It will provide local residents with the opportunity to meet lots of employers and training providers with hundreds of live vacancies in Oxford, whilst learning about up and coming training courses and upcoming local jobs.”

Councillor Ed Turner, Deputy Leader of Oxford City council, said: “We’re pleased to welcome the Jobs fair to our new community centre in Rose Hill. Local people often ask about local opportunities that might be available, and this is a great opportunity to pick up on useful advice.”
