Become a Community centre assistant

Oxford City Council are seeking a number of Community Assistants to provide cover during holiday periods and sickness. You will primarily work in the new £4 million Rose Hill Community Centre, but may also be required to work at our other Community Centres or the Town Hall in St. Aldates.
Working on site you will cover a variety of tasks including keeping the facilities clean and safe, undertaking small maintenance work, setting up or leading activities, dealing with enquiries and covering front of house reception. As a Community Assistant, you will be the face of Oxford City Council at the Community Centre on a day-to-day basis for the local community.
This role is vital to ensuring the centres operate to their full potential and customers leave having had an enjoyable experience and are keen to recommend the centres to friends and family. This presents a unique opportunity for individuals with the relevant skills, who are friendly, flexible, committed to providing the highest standards of customer service and community orientated.
