Fun at the Fayre
Rose Hill residents recently took a trip to Glympton Country Fayre. There were various dog shows, pony rides, archery, a bouncy castle, local stalls, fete games and so much more!
Fran Gardner, Rose Hill Community worker said: “The youth club staff took over 50 children and 30 parents to the fayre. It was such a wonderful event, which was blessed with lovely sunny weather, and everyone who came along really enjoyed themselves. The behaviour of the Rose Hill children at the fayre was exemplary – they were polite, kind and very chatty to the Glympton estate staff and stall holders. It was a great day.”
Demi, who is eight said she enjoyed doing all the activities:
“There were hay bales that you could climb on and it was really high. They had ponies and there were some tractors – I went in all of them and we beeped the horns. There was shooting and we all liked that. There was a place where you could eat and buy stuff. It was my first time on a pony!”
