On Saturday 10th February, young people from Body Politic’s Rose Hill Street Dance Group took part in an exciting urban art exhibition at the Museum of Oxford. The young people worked with freelance artist Dionne Freeman to paint, sculpt and draw figures inspired by their own movement.
The young people had a brilliant time and produced some incredible artwork which will be on display at the Town Hall until the end of April.
Lead Tutor, Emma-Jane Morbey said “it was such a great opportunity for the young people to do something completely different. It was fab!”
If you know a 11-16 year old who wants to join a street dance group, then contact: Emma-Jane Morbey: emj@bodypoliticdance.com or call 07791905851. The group meet at Rose Hill Community Centre every Wednesday from 6:30pm-7:30pm.
