Last Friday The Oxford Academy PE department paid an amazing tribute to Armistice day and Remembrance Sunday during a two-minute silence. Pupils and staff stood in a circle reflective of the Poppy in their red bibs to give thanks and mark their respect for those who served, fought and lost their lives during the wars.

Rose Hill & Iffley Councillor Michele Paule also posted pictures on Remembrance Sunday of former Mayor Bill Buckingham with Oxford East’s MP Andrew Smith and fellow Councillor Ed Turner.
