Getting involved in community journalism changed my life in more than one way. I gained so much confidence from meeting new people, working with others/independently  and taking creative charge of this local newspaper.

Having a local newspaper is so important to maintain connections between people who live in Rose Hill and those who cannot venture out into the community themselves. Keeping everyone informed is the main priority and celebrating the talents and positive aspects of the community is key.

Come and gain some FREE experience, the best thing about it is you don’t need to have journalism experience, just the willingness to try something new and volunteer some time to work with us. It will be a great addition to your CV, and you could even make new friends with neighbours.
