Over the last few months, Malcom Atkins has been organising several online zoom weekly social groups that have been bringing people together.

Malcolm is employed to do this by St Mary’s and St Nicholas Church in Littlemore, but Rose Hill residents are very much welcomed to join in!

The groups now include a singing group, a local history quiz, a session for families with young children, and a group that looks at ideas for sustainable living.

Malcolm explained:

“We are doing this so people don’t feel isolated. It is unlikely that people will be able to meet normally until Easter, so we are carrying on until then. You can just sit in on the group if you are not sure and just observe until you feel comfortable and join in when you feel ready.”

Group members have really enjoyed the sessions and have said that it has allowed them to meet new people and regain some structure in their lives.

The Groups are:

• Mondays 10.10am Singing
• Tuesdays 10.10am Family Fun
• Wednesdays 10.10am Sustainability Breakfast (Discussion on gardening and sustainable activities)
• Thursdays Local History quiz.
