Our local newspaper in Rose Hill is in danger of being cancelled. In order to stop this, we need to recruit more people to be involved with the newspaper.
Rose Hill News is a great asset to the community. For years it has brought local news to local people and has celebrated the talents of the community and volunteers. It has given us information and has updated us about community events and projects.
It has also been a source of information for those who cannot venture outside/ lack the mobility to get out into the community.
We need at least 10 people to sign up to some very fun workshops to help save RHN. These workshops will introduce you to how Rose Hill News is put together, how we source our stories, how you can write your own stories, take photographs and much much more and it’s FREE!
Please, if you’re interested in coming along to these free workshops email Val: VCHURCHILL@oxford.gov.uk
Emails need to be sent by 25th FEB otherwise the training will be cancelled and there will be no local newspaper.
If you’re the slightest bit intrigued about what we do please come along, no prior experience needed.
Thank you,
Aimee (RHN)
