Introduction to Helping in a School course
This is an exciting short course to explore: advice for helping in primary schools, the National Curriculum with a focus on literacy and numeracy, behaviour management, approaches to teaching and learning and supporting your child’s learning at home. Following the course, there will be a “Level 2 in Support Work in Schools” from January 2018.
Timetable and venues: 2 courses (to choose the most suitable time and venue)
- Friday, 17th November to 15th December, 5 sessions at The Venue@Cowley Community Centre. 10:00 to 12:00
- Monday, 20th November to 27th November, 2 sessions at Rose Hill Community Centre, 9:30 to 14:30
